Moody's: Westpac issues A$2B worth of mortgage-covered bonds

Westpac Banking Corp. issued A$2 billion worth of mortgage covered bonds, Moody's said May 31.

Westpac issued A$1.6 billion of Series 2017-C3 covered bonds and A$400 million of Series 2017-C4 covered bonds.

The covered bonds are backed by Australian residential mortgage loans.

As of May 30, US$1 was equivalent to A$1.34.
