Woodland Midstream II LLC announced that it was acquiring the James Lake fully integrated sour gas gathering, treating and processing system from an unnamed private seller for an undisclosed amount, according to an Oct. 8 release.
The system has a processing capacity of 110 MMcf/d, about 230 miles of pipeline and 35,000 horsepower of compression, and it serves producers in the Permian's Central Basin Platform located in the Ector, Andrews and Winkler Counties in Texas.
The firm said it plans to expand James Lake's condensate and liquid handling business, as well as put in additional capital into multiple plant optimization and emissions reduction focused projects.
Woodland Midstream II was formed by Texas-based Woodland Midstream LLC and private equity firm EIV Capital LLC. It focuses on acquiring and developing natural gas, natural gas liquids, oil and water midstream assets in the U.S. and primarily serves producers in the emerging basins of North America.
