ASIC imposes 5-year ban on former ANZ financial adviser

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission imposed a five-year ban on former Australia & New Zealand Banking Group Ltd. financial adviser Andrew TambyRajah from providing financial services.

The regulator said TambyRajah engaged in misleading and deceptive conduct by creating false documents and making improper changes to documents contained on client files. He served as a financial planner with ANZ Financial Planning from Jan. 19, 2006, to July 30, 2014.
