Chile's Seguros CLC hikes capital by 1.20B pesos

The shareholders of Chile's Seguros CLC SA on June 5 approved a capital increase of about 1.20 billion Chilean pesos through the issuance of 6,178 new shares.

The capital hike will bring the total share capital of the insurer to 7.60 billion pesos. The minimum price per new share is 194,242.18514 pesos.

During a shareholder's meeting, the company's biggest shareholders, Clínica Las Condes SA and Servicios de Salud Integrados SA decided to subscribe with preference rights to all the new shares, with the former paying for 6,116 new shares and the latter for 62 new shares.

As of June 5, US$1 was equivalent to 634.65 Chilean pesos.
