Brown-Forman announces pricing of $600M notes

Brown-Forman Corp. said March 22 that it priced notes worth $600 million in aggregate.

The producer and distributor of alcoholic beverages is offering a 7-year senior unsecured note worth $300 million, as well as a 20-year senior unsecured note worth $300 million.

The company plans to use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes, including the funding of Brown-Forman's recently declared special cash dividend payable April 23 to shareholders of record April 2.
