New Zealand, Singapore stock exchanges sign cooperation agreement

New Zealand and Singapore's stock exchanges signed a memorandum of understanding to expand cooperation in Asia-Pacific markets.

Under the agreement, NZX Ltd. and Singapore Exchange Ltd. will promote market development initiatives in areas including the promotion of derivatives products, dual and secondary listings, exchange-traded funds and investor participation, according to a March 7 release.

The bourses will also exchange relevant information and cooperate on green finance and sustainability initiatives.
