Monex Group ups final dividend for fiscal 2017-2018

Japan's Monex Group Inc. raised its final dividend for the fiscal year ended March 31.

The group said May 22 that its board declared a final dividend of ¥6.30 per share, up from the prior fiscal year's final dividend of ¥2.60 per share.

Together with an interim dividend of ¥3.70 per share, the company's total dividend for the fiscal year amounted to ¥10 per share, up from ¥5.20 per share for the prior fiscal year.

The final dividend will be paid June 4 to shareholders on record as of March 31.

As of May 22, US$1 was equivalent to ¥111.05.
