Bank of China issues notes through 2 branches

Bank of China Ltd. issued notes under its US$40 billion medium-term note program through two of its branches.

The bank's London branch issued US$500 million in floating-rate notes due 2021 and US$500 million in floating-rate notes due 2023, while its Hong Kong branch issued HK$3 billion of 2.85% notes due 2020.

The listing of the notes on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong is expected to become effective June 8.

Bank of China, Crédit Agricole CIB, HSBC and Bank Of America Merrill Lynch acted as joint global coordinators, joint book runners and joint lead managers for both issuances.

BNP Paribas, Citicorp International Ltd. and Commerzbank also acted as joint global coordinators, joint book runners and joint lead managers for the London branch's issuance, while Commonwealth Bank of Australia also did so for the Hong Kong branch's offering.
