US Solar Fund completes acquisition of 3 solar projects in North Carolina

London-based US Solar Fund PLC closed the acquisition of 100% cash equity interests in three operating utility-scale solar power projects in North Carolina, totaling about 11 MWdc.

The company acquired the portfolio from Greenbacker Renewable Energy Co. LLC for an undisclosed sum.

Including the five solar projects closed earlier in January, the fund has now acquired all eight projects from Greenbacker, accounting for a total of 39 MWdc.
