Bunge postpones IPO plans for Brazilian sugar mill operations

Bunge Ltd. has postponed a planned IPO of its Brazilian sugar milling business due to market conditions, the company said in a statement to S&P Global Market Intelligence.

The New York-based agribusiness group said in an email that it will continue to "monitor and evaluate the market environment and potential opportunities to resume the IPO process."

The company said May 15 that it filed an IPO registration request with the Brazilian Securities Commission for the Brazilian sugar mill business.
