Japan Tobacco Inc.'s domestic cigarette sales for March slid 13.9% to ¥43.2 billion from ¥50.1 billion in the same period in 2017, according to an April 13 announcement.
Domestic cigarette revenue between January and March dipped 14.4% year over year to ¥116.7 billion from ¥136.3 billion.
As of April 13, US$1 was equivalent to 107.52 Japanese yen.
