PAI Partners-led consortium closes purchase of 91.39% in Wessanen

PAI Partners and entities indirectly controlled by or affiliated with Koninklijke Wessanen NV shareholder Charles Jobson and/or his family members completed their acquisition of a 91.39% stake in the Amsterdam-based food products company.

The consortium, which conducted the transaction through Best of Nature Bidco BV, bought 50,601,266 Wessanen shares tendered in the offer at €11.36 apiece. It also took 185,067 shares from the company acting on behalf of eligible employees under its long-term incentive plan, as well as 19,704,297 shares from Jobson.

The remaining 210,166 Wessanen shares can still be tendered during the post-acceptance period, which will expire at 5:40 p.m. CET on Sept. 25.
