ANGI Homeservices buying Handy Technologies

ANGI Homeservices Inc. has agreed to buy New York-based Handy Technologies Inc., a household services platform and gig marketplace.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

The transaction, expected to close later this month, is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approval.

Handy CEO Oisin Hanrahan and COO Umang Dua, the company's co-founders, will remain with Handy and retain their current positions. They will continue to be based out of Handy's New York City office.
