Todd River Resources Ltd. received consent to grant for five key tenements at its Petermann Range project in Australia's Northern Territory after reaching an exploration agreement with traditional owners.
The copper-gold prospective tenements, covering 2,890 square kilometers, are within the Petermann aboriginal land trust, and the area has not been explored for over 40 years.
The company said May 30 that it is planning to start first-pass exploration on the new tenements, including broad-spaced surface sampling and potentially airborne geophysics over high-priority areas.
