PharmAust Ltd. said Richard Hopkins resigned as CEO to pursue a senior corporate position at another company, effective May 25.

The company's executive chairman, Roger Aston, will become PharmAust's acting CEO following Hopkins' departure.

Australia's PharmAust operates as a drug discovery and development company primarily in Australia and Switzerland.
