Timmins Gold Corp. said April 10 that the environmental impact assessment for its high-grade, high-margin Ana Paula gold-silver project in Mexico has been approved.
The company can now start a series of applications for the change of land use permits required for the construction of the mine.
Timmins expects to release a pre-feasibility study for the project later this quarter, expecting to complete the permitting and feasibility study work over the next 12 months, ahead of starting construction in the second quarter of 2018.
