Axyz fiscal Q3 profit falls YOY

AXYZ Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended March 31 was ¥53.20 per share, a decline of 7.0% from ¥57.20 per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥298.8 million, a decline of 7.0% from ¥321.3 million in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin fell to 6.9% from 7.3% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue decreased year over year to ¥4.31 billion from ¥4.39 billion, and total operating expenses decreased on an annual basis to ¥3.84 billion from ¥3.88 billion.

Reported net income rose 21.4% from the prior-year period to ¥341.0 million, or ¥60.72 per share, from ¥281.0 million, or ¥50.04 per share.

As of May 2, US$1 was equivalent to ¥106.51.
