Celebrate International fiscal Q3 loss widens YOY

Celebrate International Holdings Ltd said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended March 31 amounted to a loss of 7 Hong Kong cents per share, compared with a loss of 26 cents per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of HK$14.8 million, compared with a loss of HK$4.2 million in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew on an annual basis to HK$451.8 million from HK$7.7 million, and total operating expenses rose year over year to HK$409.9 million from HK$14.6 million.

Reported net income came to a loss of HK$865,000, or a loss of 0 cents per share, compared to a loss of HK$7.7 million, or a loss of 48 cents per share, in the prior-year period.
