Longford Resources Ltd. said Feb.19 that it nearly tripled the land area of the Goodsprings copper-cobalt project in Nevada by acquiring 302 claims covering approximately 6,000 acres through staking.
As a result, the project area now covers about 9,500 acres, including workings at the historical Blue Jay cobalt mine.
The expansion was made ahead of an extensive field work program leading to a maiden drilling program at Goodsprings, set to begin in mid-2018.
