David Cumming? is expected to join Aviva Plc's Aviva Investors as head of global equities, Sky News reported Dec. 9, citing "sources close to the company."
Aviva Investors, which has more than £350 billion in AUM, is in advanced talks with the influential Cumming regarding an appointment, with an announcement likely to be made in the week of Dec. 11, the sources said.
Cumming left Standard Life Investments in March, days after the completion of the merger of Standard Life and Aberdeen Asset Management to form Standard Life Aberdeen Plc, Sky said.
Chris Murphy, Aviva Investors' current global head of equities, will move to take over the U.K. division of the business, the report added.
