Venture Minerals Ltd. is set to start a maiden drill program at its Caesar nickel-copper project in Western Australia in the first week of November.
The company said Oct. 13 that it has received cofunding from the Western Australian government, which will halve the drilling costs.
Diamond drilling will target a large electromagnetic anomaly coincident with a strong surface geochemical anomaly as well as a geophysical gravity high.
The drill target is adjacent to surface samples containing copper and nickel sulfides.
Venture entered a joint venture agreement with privately held Muggon Copper Pty. Ltd. in November 2016 to earn up to a 90% stake in the Caesar property.
