US Bancorp offers €1B of notes

Minneapolis-based U.S. Bancorp is offering €1 billion 0.850% medium-term senior series X notes, due June 7, 2024, according to a May 31 prospectus.

The notes will bear interest of 0.850% per year, payable yearly.

The company expects net proceeds of €996,660,000 from the offering.

Barclays Bank PLC, Citigroup Global Markets Inc., UBS Limited, and U.S. Bancorp Investments Inc. are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering.
