Thai Beverage PCL said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended June 30 came to 41 satang per share, a gain of 135.9% from 17 satang per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 10.21 billion baht, a gain of 135.9% from 4.33 billion baht in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin increased to 22.5% from 9.5% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue came to 45.42 billion baht, compared with 45.65 billion baht in the year-earlier period, and total operating expenses came to 39.04 billion baht, compared with 39.09 billion baht in the prior-year period.
Reported net income rose 165.3% from the prior-year period to 15.32 billion baht, or 61 satang per share, from 5.78 billion baht, or 23 satang per share.
As of Aug. 11, US$1 was equivalent to 33.23 baht.
