Former Promontory Point Capital Partner Steve Mayer launched Milwaukee-based investment bank Franklin Place Capital, BizTimes Milwaukee reported.

Franklin Place Capital focuses on transaction advisory services, capital raising and debt restructuring services for privately held Midwestern manufacturing, industrial and service-based companies with revenues ranging from $5 million to $250 million, according to the report.

Franklin Place Capital's team includes associate banker Christopher Mayer, a marketing professional and a legal counsel.
