Alderan to acquire 402 copper-prospective claims in Utah, stakes 719 claims

Alderan Resources Ltd. said March 27 that it signed a memorandum of understanding and an exclusivity agreement with Horn Silver Mines Inc. over 402 claims prospective for copper in Utah's Frisco region.

The agreement follows its acquisition, by staking, of 719 mineral claims dubbed the Star Range, Elephant Canyon and Donut Flats project areas and securing a state mineral lease.

Under the deal, Alderan will pay US$20,000 to have the exclusive right until July 15 or later to acquire the Harrington and Northern Beaver Mountain claims from Horn Silver Mines, subject to a formal transaction.

Alderan is planning to begin drilling high-priority targets at Accrington and Perseverance at its Frisco copper project in June.
