AMMB Holdings issues 325M ringgit of subordinated notes

Malaysia-based AMMB Holdings Bhd. issued 325 million ringgit of subordinated notes.

The company said Feb. 27 that the notes have a tenor of 10 years and are priced with an interest rate of 5.23% per annum.

The company plans to use proceeds from the issue to invest in the capital instruments of its subsidiaries.

As of Feb. 27, US$1 was equivalent to 3.92 Malaysian ringgit.
