European Energy closes sale of 18-MW wind farm in Denmark

European Energy A/S completed the sale of an 18-MW operational wind farm in Denmark to German alternative asset manager Aquila Capital Investmentgesellschaft Mbh.

The wind farm features six Vestas Wind Systems A/S V126-3.6 MW turbines, of which five were purchased by Aquila Capital. European Energy will retain ownership of the remaining turbine.

European Energy said the sale will contribute positively to its financial position. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
