Mutual of America chairman emeritus dies

Mutual of America Life Insurance Co. Chairman Emeritus William Flynn died June 2.

Flynn joined Mutual of America as president in 1971 and became board chairman, president and CEO in 1982. He retired from the company in 1994 but continued to serve as board chairman until 2005. Upon retiring from the board, he was awarded the honorary title of chairman emeritus.
