Tampa Electric extends maturity date of $325M credit facility

Tampa Electric Co. on March 22 entered into a fifth amended and restated credit agreement with certain banks, including Wells Fargo Bank NA as administrative agent.

The amendment extends the maturity date of the Emera Inc. subsidiary's $325 million bank credit facility to March 22, 2022, from Dec. 17, 2018, and makes other technical changes, according to a Form 8-K filed March 31.

Wells Fargo Securities LLC, JPMorgan Chase Bank NA, MUFG Union Bank NA, The Bank of Nova Scotia and Royal Bank of Canada served as joint lead arrangers and joint book runners; JPMorgan Chase Bank NA acted as syndication agent; and MUFG Union Bank NA, The Bank of Nova Scotia and Royal Bank of Canada as documentation agents.
