U.S. cloud services company Net2Phone Inc. acquired Spain-headquartered business communications company RingSouth Europa SL for an undisclosed sum.

The acquisition is expected to allow Net2Phone to tap the Spanish and European markets, while allowing RingSouth Europa to expand its footprint in the business communications market.

The RingSouth Europa transaction follows Net2Phone's acquisition of Ottawa-based cloud-based business voice over IP communication solutions provider Versature Corp. in 2018.

IDT Corp. owns Net2Phone.
