OpCapita to sell clothing retailer NKD to TDR Capital

OpCapita Consumer Opportunities Fund LP, advised by U.K.-based private equity partnership OpCapita LLP, agreed to sell its portfolio company NKD Vertriebs GmbH to funds advised by fellow private equity firm TDR Capital LLP.

The companies did not disclose the terms of the transaction, which is subject to customary closing conditions.

Discount clothing retailer NKD runs a chain of about 1,800 small-format stores across Germany, Austria, Croatia, Italy and Slovenia.
