Aug. 28

* Parthasarathi Mukherjee resigned as managing director and CEO of Lakshmi Vilas Bank Ltd. because of personal reasons, effective Aug. 31.

* Jayesh Shah stepped down as an independent director of Cox & Kings Financial Service Ltd. due to personal reasons, with effect from Aug. 22.

Aug. 27

* Zhang Lilin resigned as executive vice president of China Construction Bank Corp. due to a change of job.

* Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. appointed Mong-ting Chong chief risk officer, effective Aug. 28.

* Bain Capital LP's Bain Capital Credit LP subsidiary named Suruchi Nangia a director, as part of the U.S.-based group's plan to set up an independent team for credit operations in India, The Economic Times reported, citing two unnamed sources close to the development.

* iQ3Corp Ltd. named Monika Pawel as a nonexecutive director.

* J. Christopher Flowers retired as an outside director, while David Morgan also ceased as senior adviser of the company.

* Deutsche Bank AG intends to hire 120 staff for retail banking and 19 relationship managers for its wealth management operations in India, Bloomberg News reported, citing a spokesman for the bank and Amit Bhatia, head of private and commercial clients for the bank in India.

Aug. 26

* BNK Banking Corp. Ltd. appointed Jon Denovan a nonexecutive director, effective Sept. 1. Denovan will replace Derek LaFerla, who will retire from the company's board Aug. 30.

* Wallfort Financial Services Ltd. appointed Ramkishor Darak and Niraj Totla independent nonexecutive directors, with effect from Sept. 30.

* Pushpay Holdings Ltd. named Justine Smyth an independent director, while Daniel Steinman resigned as a director on the New Zealand-based financial technology company's board.

* Challenger Ltd. appointed Masahiko Kobayashi a nonexecutive director.

* The Indian government nominated Subrata Das a director on Bank of India's board.

Aug. 23

* Jun Xu resigned as CEO and a director of 360 Finance Inc., citing personal and family reasons. Further, the U.S.-listed Chinese online consumer lender appointed Haisheng Wu, the president and co-founder of the company, as CEO and a director.

* Dragon Victory International Ltd. named Limin Liu chairman and CEO and Wei Wang a director. Both appointments took effect Aug. 21.

* Maruti Securities Ltd. appointed B. Srinivas managing director for a five-year term, commencing March 31, 2020.

* John McBain is planning to retire as a nonexecutive director of QV Equities Ltd., with effect from Aug. 30. In addition, the Australian financial services company appointed Eamonn Roles a nonexecutive director, effective the same date.

* Peter Lee Ka-kit is stepping down as nonexecutive director of Bank of East Asia Ltd. to focus on his new role as chairman and managing director of Henderson Land Development Co. Ltd., as well as chairman of China Gas Group Ltd.

* Comfort Intech Ltd. named Milin Ramani and Ankur Agrawal nonexecutive directors. The appointments took effect June 29, with the approval of the company's shareholders.

* HSBC Holdings PLC has cut about 10 jobs in merger advisory teams in Japan and Australia, Bloomberg News reported, citing unnamed sources.

Aug. 22

* Wu Wei resigned as CFO, executive director and executive vice president of Bank of Communications Co. Ltd. due to a job change.

* Available Finance Ltd. named Yogendra Shukla CEO. The company also appointed Dwarkadas Kushwah an independent director following Shukla's resignation from the same role.

* HDFC Bank Ltd. appointed Srinivasan Vaidyanathan CFO.

* Milgrey Finance and Investments Ltd. appointed Bhim Chaudhary CFO. The Indian company also named Manav Kumar and Abhishek Sanga independent directors.

* Habib Bank Ltd. named Adnan Haroon the country manager of HBL-Oman, Muscat Daily reported, citing a news release. Haroon will replace Syed Ali Hasnain, who is leaving to pursue other opportunities.

* Moneyboxx Finance Ltd. appointed Uma Paliwal its new chairman.

* Bank of Urumqi Co. Ltd. named Hao Jianguo and Gao Cheng directors on its board.

* Dhanvarsha Finvest Ltd. appointed Manjari Kacker and Surendra Behera five-year-term independent directors, subject to shareholders' approval.
