Comcast moves Food Network, others to pricier tier

Comcast Corp. moved some channels — including Food Network (US), Disney Channel (US), Cartoon Network (US) and truTV (US) to its Digital Starter package from the cheaper Digital Economy package, USA Today reported May 25.

Meanwhile, other channels, including BBC America (US), BBC World News (US), Bloomberg Television (US), Hallmark Movies & Mysteries (US) and Smithsonian Channel (US), were moved to the economy tier from the Digital Starter package.

The Digital Starter package reportedly costs $10 to $20 more than the economy package.
