Annual French inflation was revised down 0.1 percentage point to 1.2% in European harmonized terms in November, the same rate as for October, final data by the Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies showed.
In monthly terms, harmonized inflation was confirmed at 0.1%, also unchanged from the month before.
In nonharmonized terms, inflation was confirmed at 0.1% monthly and 1.2% year over year.
Monthly inflation reflected an acceleration in energy prices and an increase in tobacco prices, partially offset by a sharp slowdown in food prices from last month's rebound, and by a slight drop in services and manufactured goods prices, Insee said.
The annual inflation rate resulted from stronger growth in energy and tobacco prices and a lower drop in the prices for manufactured goods, while food prices remained steady.
Monthly core inflation index 0.1% in November after being steady last month. Annual core inflation was at 0.5% in November, unchanged from the four previous months.
