Nestlé SA said Aug. 21 that the company will invest 1 billion reais in São Paulo, Brazil, over the next three years.
The Swiss food giant plans install a new production line and new technologies at its existing facilities in Caçapava and Araçatuba, São Paulo.
Nestlé directly employs 12,000 people in São Paulo and invested 2 billion reais in the Brazilian state during the last five years.
As of Aug. 21, US$1 was equivalent to 4.03 Brazilian reais.
