Jefferies LLC added Adam Fishman, the former head of institutional brokerage at FBR Capital Markets & Co. Fishman joined Jefferies in January as head of distribution for the company's permanent capital group
Canaccord Genuity Group Inc. added the Cash Management Group, a Canadian investment advisory team, to its Canadian wealth management division.
Ladenburg Thalmann Financial Services Inc. unit Securities America said a consortium of 35 East Coast-based independent financial advisers with $2 billion in client assets, and an office of supervisory jurisdiction with $1.5 billion in client assets, transitioned to its independent advisory and brokerage platform.
Ladenburg Thalmann also named John Blood senior vice president of advisory services and solutions, effective immediately.
