Banco Central del Paraguay on Feb. 21 decided to maintain its monetary policy rate at 5.25%.
On the domestic front, short-term economic indicators continue to show a favorable trend, the central bank said in a statement.
Internationally, reasonable dynamics persist in the most relevant advanced economics, although certain events caused some financial volatility, especially in the U.S., the regulator noted.
The central bank said it will continue to monitor internal and external macroeconomic trends and use its instruments with flexibility, in order to achieve its annual inflation target of 4%.
