* Sapphire Ventures LLC led a $53 million series A funding round for workforce data network and analytics company Brightfield, with Mission Operators Group, or MissionOG; CapitalOne Growth Ventures; and Telescope Partners also participating in the round.
* HYPR Corp., which provides a passwordless security platform, pulled in $18.3 million in series B financing led by Comcast Ventures. Other investors including .406 Ventures LLC, RRE Ventures LLC, Allen & Co. Inc., Triphammer Ventures, Boldstart Ventures, RTP Ventures, Mastercard Inc. and Samsung Next LLC also participated in the round. HYPR collected $10.0 million in a series A round in September 2017.
* A $13 million equity financing round for women's healthcare company Meditrina Inc., which developed a system for the treatment of intrauterine pathologies, was led by Shangbay Capital LLC and Aethan Capital Inc. Meditrina secured $5.0 million in debt capital in May.
