H-One Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, came to a loss of ¥1.95 per share, compared with ¥46.94 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of ¥55.4 million, compared with income of ¥1.19 billion in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin declined to negative 0.1% from 2.6% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue totaled ¥45.24 billion, compared with ¥44.98 billion in the year-earlier period, and total operating expenses increased 5.3% year over year to ¥45.13 billion from ¥42.85 billion.
Reported net income came to a loss of ¥103.0 million, or a loss of ¥3.63 per share, compared to income of ¥1.63 billion, or ¥64.67 per share, in the year-earlier period.
As of Feb. 6, US$1 was equivalent to ¥119.01.
