Syndicated Metals pegs 50,000-ounce maiden gold resource at Monument project

Syndicated Metals Ltd. estimated a maiden JORC 2012-compliant mineral resource at the Korong gold deposit, part of its Monument project in Western Australia's Laverton gold district.

The deposit hosts an inferred mineral resource of 855,000 tonnes at 1.8 g/t of gold containing 50,000 ounces, according to a Sept. 10 release.

The Korong gold resource is the first JORC-compliant mineral resource to be estimated at Monument. The resource remains open in all directions, with strong potential to extend the mineralization down-plunge to the north, as well as to discover repeat lodes to the north and south of the main high-grade Korong Lode.
