Country Garden seeks to change process for shareholder director nominations

Country Garden Holdings Co. Ltd. is seeking shareholder approval at its next general meeting to amend its articles of association related to shareholder nominations of directors.

The China-based property developer aims to add language to article 85 indicating that a shareholder must hold at least 3% of the total voting rights in order to put forward a candidate. It also aims to strike certain language regarding notices submitted prior to the release of the date of the general meeting.
