Restoration Robotics stockholders approve merger with Venus Concept

Restoration Robotics Inc. shareholders approved its all-stock merger with privately held aesthetics technology company Venus Concept Ltd.

The deal, which is expected to close before the end of October, was approved by Restoration Robotics shareholders at the company's annual meeting held Oct. 4.

Shareholders of Toronto-based Venus Concept approved the merger in September.

San Jose, Calif.-based Restoration Robotics is a medical technology company that develops and commercializes image-guided robotic systems. The deal is expected to boost the company's hair renewal segment.
