The company is seeking a DevOps system engineer to design and create the exchange for both public and private clouds.
The company has been planning the initiative for the past 12 months, according to the news outlet, which cited anonymous sources with knowledge regarding the matter.
Fidelity is also hiring workers to set up custody solutions for bitcoin or other digital currencies.
