CapFinancial Partners acquires Morton Wealth Management

Raleigh, N.C.-based CapFinancial Partners LLC has acquired Greensboro, N.C.-based hybrid registered investment adviser, Morton Wealth Management LLC, InvestmentNews reported Sept. 10.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, according to the report.

Three Morton Wealth Management advisers joined CapFinancial Partners under the deal, taking CapFinancial Partners' total advisers to 159, InvestmentNews wrote. Morton Wealth Management has $427 million in client assets under management. The transaction increases CapFinancial Partners' client assets to $278 billion.
