Nuveen Investments buys Minneapolis apartment building

Nuveen Investments Inc. acquired the 216-unit Flux Apartments at 2838 Fremont Ave. in Minneapolis for $54 million, the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal reported, citing a real estate value certificate.

The TIAA subsidiary bought the apartment building from an affiliate of the AFL-CIO, which was represented by CBRE Minneapolis on the deal, according to the publication.
