Colony Bankcorp boosts quarterly dividend

Fitzgerald, Ga.-based Colony Bankcorp Inc.'s board approved a quarterly cash dividend of 10 cents per share, higher than the previous payout of 7.5 cents per share.

The dividend will be paid Feb. 18 to stockholders of record as of the close of business Jan. 31.

The company reported fourth-quarter 2019 net income available to common stockholders of $2.8 million, or 29 cents per share, compared to $3.0 million, or 35 cents per share, in the year-ago period.

For full year 2019, the company posted net income available to common shareholders of $10.2 million, or $1.12 per share, compared to $11.9 million, or $1.40 per share, in the previous year.
