Amani Gold increases Giro resources with 1st Douze Match estimate

Amani Gold Ltd. completed an initial resource estimate for the Douze Match deposit, comprising indicated and inferred resources of 8.1 million tonnes grading 1.2 g/t gold for 320,000 ounces at a 0.5 g/t cutoff.

The analysis incorporated data from 18 diamond drillholes and reverse circulation drilling totaling 143,318 meters.

The Douze Match deposit forms part of the company's majority-owned Giro gold property in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, which comprises two exploration permits covering 497 square kilometers.

Combined with the Kebigada deposit, Giro now hosts indicated and inferred resources totaling 81.8 million tonnes at 1.20 g/t gold for 3.1 million ounces of gold using a 0.6 g/t cutoff.

Amani posted a revised resource estimate for Kebigada in August 2017 outlining indicated and inferred resources of 45.6 million tonnes grading 1.46 g/t gold for 2.1 million ounces using a 0.9 g/t cutoff.
