Morozoff Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Oct. 31 amounted to a loss of ¥129.68 per share, compared with a loss of ¥121.03 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of ¥470.0 million, compared with a loss of ¥438.8 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin fell to negative 10.2% from negative 9.5% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue totaled ¥4.61 billion, compared with ¥4.64 billion in the prior-year period, and total operating expenses totaled ¥5.36 billion, compared with ¥5.34 billion in the prior-year period.
Reported net income came to a loss of ¥506.0 million, or a loss of ¥139.61 per share, compared to a loss of ¥462.0 million, or a loss of ¥127.44 per share, in the year-earlier period.
As of Dec. 12, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.57.
