Arcline Investment raises $1.5B for 1st fund

San Francisco-based private equity firm Arcline Investment Management LP closed its debut investment fund at $1.5 billion, with commitments coming primarily from university endowments, sovereign wealth funds, family offices and charitable foundations.

The fund reached its hard cap limit and surpassed its original target of $1.25 billion, Reuters reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

Arcline Capital Partners LP is focused on leveraged buyouts of high-quality midmarket businesses, according to a company release.
