Atlantic City Electric rolls out bill credit from Exelon merger

Atlantic City Electric Co. customers will receive a monthly bill credit based on their current billing cycle beginning in June, as part of the acquisition of the utility's parent, Pepco Holdings LLC, by Exelon Corp.

Atlantic City Electric announced in a June 5 press release that the credit will stop when the $22 million fund has been fully distributed to customers.

An average residential customer using 716 kWh per month will see their bill decrease about $4.37.
